I am still decompressing my spring Japan pilgrimage ~whoah!

But I couldn’t wait to share some behind the scenes of meeting + hanging out with one of my coaching clients, Naudia.

It was our first time meeting and I thought I’d end up going to be with her for one day …

but NOPE!

Ms. ma’am had other plans in mind that included a full weekend  of art shopping, creating + planning for her first show (as her brand, 876-RawSoulArt) ^.^

I can’t be mad at efficiently utilizing time so … how could I really say no?!

to make this trip happen, I first had to go from Tokyo to Osuka and drop most of my luggage off near my tattoo family’s stay ~

finally arrived in Nagoya ^.^ looks pretty late but we had time to make it to the art store. Sekaido here we come ^.^

my small find was this Egyptian-themed washi

We grabbed some food, crashed, and got to work the next day ~

Here’s a small peek into her sketch book (with artist permission granted haha) ^.^

I fell in love with this one when I first saw it ❤

and we talked extensively about the goals for this one ^.^

I just wanted to  give you a peek but to see more of her work and budding brand

🌸Kawaii Cafe no Jikan🌸

After covering a ton of ground on Sunday, I finally got Naudia out of her work space for a cute cafe experience ^.^

I believe in brain breaks and Japan is famous for their themed cafes ^.^

I LOVE going to the Chibi Maruko-chan cafe myself, but of course, we spotted a Sailor Moon x My Melody Cafe Collaboration …
(remember my last My Melody cafe experience?)

so I was definitely game ~

Naudia’s had her showcase and ROCKED IT!

And now she’s learning the fine art of pacing herself

🌺 My friend and business consultant @ipukekawaii gave me one of the best advice I’ve gotten in the longest time. After calling her one day in utter frustration and feeling burnt out she said “Remember you are the product and your art is the by- product!” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌺 That was the necessary pause button I needed to slow down and allow myself to easily flow through this journey. The truth is there is no product if there’s no producer we gotta water ourselves with grace and love. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌺 I was burning out, running this marathon as if it was a sprint. So now I am expressing gratitude for the advise she gave. Thank you Imani🤗💖🙏

1. Get organized

2. Pace yourself

3. BE KIND TO YOURSELF

You’re human and can only do some much in a day ~

Do that sh!t. Crush that sh!t. And go breathe + give your brain a hug.
