Live Painting in Japan, Global Rhythms International Party

Hi かわいい + creative family!

I did my first live painting event in Tokyo!

It’s an international party called Global Rhythms.

For me, working in Japan is not important for the sake of saying that I have done it.

Instead, I want to actively contribute to a community and a culture that has influenced both my art and lifestyles. I am a firm believer in showing appreciate and gratitude to people and things that have helped guide you on successful paths.

In my case, Japanese culture and the various art communities there certainly have. So why not be a part?!

As I was planning my second trip to Japan, I asked my friend DJ Passo if events like live painting happen.

Not too sure why I would not think such things to be there …

but there were and asked if I wanted to do one at some point during any visits.

YES, YES, and YES! That would be awesome.

And that’s how I got to experience live painting at Global Rhythms.

Let me tell you about it ~
